IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban research university. The campus enrolls more than 30,000 students in 21 schools and academic units.
The 40th Year Celebration Label was designed to commemorate a special occasion—the 40th Anniversary Celebration of IUPUI. Its design, based on a representation of those 40 years, features buildings constructed on campus from 1969 through 2009.
The special colors representing this one-year celebration are available in Pantone or CMYK versions.
Ruby red is the traditional color and theme for this anniversary.
Gold represents the Purdue presence on campus.
Grey is provided as a neutral option.
Black is available as another neutral option.
We encourage all schools, departments, faculty and staff on campus to use this celebratory label and color scheme on all printed materials, gift items, giveaways web sites, etc. for the year 2009. The use of the label will benefit the campus and help to announce the celebration of 40 years’ progress, "From Ideas to Impact."
The 40th Year Label SHOULD NOT replace official campus identity marks as specified in the IU visual identity guidelines, http://ocm.iupui.edu/integratedimage/. Use the 40th Year Label as a separate design element.
The 40th Year Label should not be used on Letterhead unless it is a special mailing. No materials featuring the 40th Year Label may be used after 2009, the conclusion of the celebration.
