Communications Channels : JAGtv

Introduction

JAGtv plays on campus cable channel 14, which is available in all housing units as well as many academic buildings on the IUPUI campus. The channel plays campus event listings, campus news, athletics updates, information about campus history, and other announcements.

Campus Announcements

The campus announcements section includes up to 10 ten-second announcements from any department or unit at IUPUI. Announcements run for a maximum of one week. Visit http://www.iupui.edu/~jagtv/submit/index.html to submit a campus announcement.

Campus Events

Upcoming events from several categories in the campus events calendar. This segment is updated automatically each night. Featured categories include Academics, Student Life, Lectures/Workshops, Campus Arts, Athletics, and City Events.

Submission: Events are pulled automatically from the IUPUI events calendar, so submit your events to that calendar.

News & Weather

This segment includes campus news from Inside IUPUI, current weather conditions, and national headlines. Campus news is maintained by Media Relations and weather and national headlines are pulled automatically from external sources and are updated every few minutes.

Submission: Work with your unit's contact in Media Relations (Rich Schneider or Diane Brown) regarding your newsworthy story.

Athletics Update

Includes athletics schedules, plus scores and highlights from each athletics contest, updated by Sports Information Directors in the Athletics Department.
