From international halls of justice in Europe to the mountain regions of Mexico, from poverty-stricken villages of Peru to the conflict-torn Middle East, IUPUI is making its mark on the world. To learn about IUPUI alumni who are building exciting careers abroad and about the impact of university partnerships building “new horizons” for students and communities, check out the latest online issue of IUPUI Magazine.
The magazine will be mailed to more than 120,000 IUPUI alumni around the world and should arrive in the next two weeks. The Winter 2009 issue touches on “international IUPUI,” all the ways in which our alumni, students, staff, faculty and schools are building connections to people next door and around the world. The issue also contains a separate 16-page commemorative issue celebrating IUPUI’s 40th birthday, including a special four-page gatefold poster of the campus and the city skyline at night.
Fulltime faculty and staff also should receive copies of this issue at their campus address. A limited number of copies of the issue also will be available upon request, though quantities are limited. To request a copy, send an email to: rburrous@iupui.edu.
The magazine website, magazine.iupui.edu, features bonus material, including several video interviews, photo galleries, and the entire magazine available as a PDF download.
