Portfolio : NCAA Tournament Shoe

Suzanne checks out the shoe.
To celebrate its role as host of Indiana's high school tournament finals, the Big Ten men's and women's tournaments, and the Final Four, Indianapolis showcased giant sculptures of basketball shoes around the city in March and early April. Mounted on concrete bases, the molded fiberglass shoes were 7ft long, 4ft tall, and 3 ft wide.
The IUPUI shoe is entitled "Beware of the Jungle." The success of IUPUI's basketball teams and the rise of campus spirit inspired the design. It's a great time to be a Jaguar, and the big shoe is a reflection of the great spirit on campus.
The shoe was on display outside of the Circle Center Mall entrance exposing the IUPUI Jaguar name to thousands of visitors and local tournament attendees.
