Web Specialist

I'm the newest member of the OCM team, though I bring considerable experience in web design as well as writing and editing. Like many others on the team, I hand coded my first web page over a decade ago. While the tools (and end results of my coding) have improved vastly over the years, I still end up hand coding quite frequently. I also have more than a decade of professional editing and writing experience. I've written everything from magazine articles to greeting cards. However, I'm happiest when I'm working online. Though I'm relatively new to Indianapolis, I've been a part of IU for a long time, earning both my bachelor's and master's degrees from IU Bloomington. But for now, I'm happy to be a Jaguar!

When I'm not at work I'm...

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, laughing, and playing games—usually some combination of those. I'm also an outdoors junkie, and like to go camping almost anytime it's not freezing outside. And sometimes, I dress up like it's 1609 and go to renaissance faires. You might also find me at assorted gaming conventions. In the evenings, you're likely to find me wandering Azeroth on my epic night saber.

The Princess Bride. Best. Movie. Ever. Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles... What's not to love? I'm also a sucker for most (well done) sci-fi, fantasy, and comedy movies.
